Qualifications

Andrew R. Beaudry CFP®, CLU®, ChFC®, CASL® 

Andrew R. Beaudry has been in the financial services industry since 1989. He has helped provide comprehensive financial planning for individuals, families, and business owners. Plans are designed to integrate our client's goals with objective solutions and subjective choices in the areas of wealth accumulation, asset protection, estate planning, lifestyle and retirement income.

 Andrew graduated from University of Massachusetts with a BA in Political Science and a Masters in Public Administration(M.P.A.). He furthered his education in the industry by obtaining the Chartered Financial Consultant designation (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and has a CFP® certification (Certified Financial Planner) through the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado. As well, Andrew received his CASL® designation (Certified Advisor for Senior Living).

 Andrew focuses on investment advisory services, as well as estate and business planning. In his spare time Andrew is active in his church and community as well as, time with his expanding family.


Edward J. Garbacik CFP®, AIF®

Edward J. Garbacik is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional working objectively to serve his client’s needs. With over 23 years of experience in the financial services industry as an advisor and planner; Ed has been providing individuals and small business owners with comprehensive financial planning, including investment advisory services, retirement planning, estate planning as well as other wealth management needs. He believes that financial planning is much more than simple investment selection.

As a CFP® professional, Ed uses a six-step planning process to meet the comprehensive needs of today’s investor. He earned this designation through the CFP® certificant program at Boston University. Ed’s comprehensive planning knowledge, coupled with his expertise attained through the CFP® exam, result in a planning experience few can duplicate. Ed has also been awarded the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation, widely considered the fiduciary standard for business retirement planning and plan sponsor services. He holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63,66 licenses as well as Massachusetts life and health insurance licenses.

Prior to joining Private Financial Design, Ed held the title of partner at HWS, a boutique investment firm specializing in retirement income planning. Before that, he held the title of Vice President and managing partner of investments at FSB Financial Group where he led the group’s financial planning and wealth management arms. Ed also held the title of Vice President with UBS Investment Management in New York, where he was responsible for growing the firm’s institutional assets under management in the Taft-Hartley and public pension fund marketplace.

Ed and his wife, Heather, live in South Hadley. They enjoy spending as much time as possible with their three children, Zach, Kevin and Kate. Ed also enjoys playing competitive golf, running, and devoting time volunteering with Junior Achievement organization.
